Russia Leverages AI-enhanced "Meliorator" software for foreign malign influence

The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, along with international partners including the FBI, CNMF, AIVD, MIVD, and the DNP, issued a warning about a covert disinformation tool called 'Meliorator.' This AI-enhanced software is utilized by affiliates of the state-sponsored Russian media organization RT to create and manage fictitious online personas for spreading disinformation to benefit the Russian Government.
